According to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), as well as in accordance with the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000), we inform you that personal data is processed solely for the purposes related to the functioning of the website and contact with users.

This Privacy Policy applies to

  • the sale of products and related activities including placing and processing orders, preparing commercial offers, providing technical support, handling complaint processes;
  • contacting customers for marketing purposes.

Types of collected data

n order to sell our products, we collect the following data:

Companies and other legal entities:

  • Company/legal entity name, headquarters/branch address, VAT identification number (NIP), contact person’s name and surname, phone number, email address.

For marketing purposes, we collect the following data:

  • Headquarters/branch addresses of companies/legal entities;
  • email addresses used for direct contact with the company/legal entity or business email addresses of employees provided by the company/legal entity.

Method of data collection

Order fulfillment

n order to purchase our products, it is necessary to provide the above-mentioned data and consent to their processing. The above data is collected from customers through:

  • filling out forms directly on our website, submitted electronically or in printed form;
  • providing the required data in electronic or printed correspondence or during telephone contact.

Your data is collected to fulfill legal obligations related to documenting the sales process and correctly fulfilling our contractual obligations. In the case of providing technical support or handling complaints, we may process other information necessary to provide customers with the expected support, such as product name and serial number, data regarding purchase invoice, etc.

Marketing activities

For marketing purposes, publicly available data regarding companies/legal entities and their employees, which have been provided by these companies/legal entities, are collected. We do not collect and process personal data of individuals (private individuals) for marketing purposes.

Method of data storage

We store personal data:

  • in electronic form on network drives, company computer disks, and servers leased from hosting companies;
  • in printed form in designated archives.

We make every effort to ensure that stored data is effectively protected against unauthorized or unlawful processing, loss, destruction, or damage. The security measures employed are in accordance with the approved Personal Data Security Policy.

Data retention period

The collected personal data may be stored:

  • for the period required by law to fulfill tax, legal, and accounting purposes; (e.g., data required for issuing invoices);
  • for the period necessary to conduct the complaint process related to purchased products;
  • until you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data. In this case, we will delete your data within 7 days of receiving the request to withdraw consent.

Data recipients

Personal data may be transferred to external entities providing services to Amplicon Ltd. to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the sale of ordered products. These entities include postal and courier operators, providers of IT services and systems, providers of accounting and legal services. If necessary, we may be obliged to disclose your personal data to authorized state authorities in connection with legal requirements (Prosecutor’s Office, Police, National Tax Administration, General Inspectorate for Personal Data Protection, etc.).

Rights granted

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

  • the right to rectification of data – correcting incorrect, incomplete, or outdated personal data;
  • the right of access to data – obtaining information about the purpose and manner of data processing, obtaining access to a copy of the data;
  • the right to restrict data processing – limiting processing solely to storage;
  • the right to partially or completely delete data („right to be forgotten”) – deleting data processed without legal grounds;
  • the right to data portability – indicating another administrator to whom we should transfer data, if technically possible;
  • the right to object – in any case, you can object to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes;
  • the right to withdraw consent – at any time, you can withdraw any consent previously given to us.
