AmpliTest Nannizzia (Real Time PCR)
BAC37-100
Nannizzia persicolor is a zoophilic fungus often occuring as a saprophyte on voles and bats. It rarely causes skin mycoses in humans. Nannizzia gypsea is a geophilic fungus that can cause infections in animals and humans, especially children. It usually produces a single inflammatory skin or scalp lesions.
AmpliTest Nannizzia (Real Time PCR) test is designed to detect DNA sequences specific for Nannizzia persicolor and Nannizzia gypsea in DNA samples obtained from tissues of infected animal or human. The Real Time PCR reaction is a duplex-type. Fungal DNA is detected in the FAM channel. The second channel (HEX ) serves for detection of the internal control. Controls included into the test (rekombinant DNAs) enable control of the correct course of the Real Time PCR reaction.
